FROG EGGS

*As a class, we will each be getting our own set of frog eggs that we will be watching over the next few weeks turn into frogs.
1. First, click the Pre-Assessment link and follow the directions listed in the link. Print out the Pre-Assessment and
turn it in to me in class by June 17th.
2. Then, read the paragraph below the second picture to learn about frog eggs.
3. Then, click on the Video link located above to watch (35 seconds) of a frog laying her eggs.
4. After you have watched the video, click on the Frog Life Cycle Kit link to see what you will be expected to do
as we put together our kit in class.
5. Lastly, click the Worksheet link to write down what you have observed from the first week watching your frog
egg.

A frog begins its life as an egg. The life cycle is the frog's journey into becomming an adult frog.
Two frogs mate in water, and the female frog lays her eggs in the water. The male covers them with
liquid.
Eggs are soft and jello-like and stick together in a clump. Fertilized eggs grow into tadpoles
